Since forming in early 2008 Stray Voltage has earned the loyalty of a large number of fans in the Twin Cities. It’s a six-piece band of friends who have played in lots of bands together over the years. They take their music very seriously. But they sure don’t take themselves seriously. They have fun in the rehearsal cave and they have more fun when they play for you. And they work very hard to make sure you have even more fun than they do.
Some of the members have earned spots in the Minnesota Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Their music library spans six decades. A Stray Voltage set list is hard to categorize. No clunkers. No fillers. The fellas enjoy playing a song or two that makes the audience say, “didn’t see that one coming” or, “songs you forgot that you remembered you love”. This is a band that will get the party started and keep it going.
The members of Stray Voltage boast (well, they’d never boast) strong musical resumes and when you hire this band here’s what you get:
Five lead singers and one Novelty Singer
Three guitar players
Two keyboard players
Four Bass players – (featuring a fella who plays left handed)-
